Meat Loaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. tomato juice
    3/4 c. Quaker oats
    1 egg, beaten
    1/4 c. chopped onion or 1 envelope dry onion soup mix
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 1/2 lb. lean ground beef
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Combine all ingredients except ground beef and mix well.
    Add ground beef and mix thoroughly.
    Press into an 8 x 4-inch loaf pan.
    Bake 1 hour and drain.
    Let stand 5 to 10 minutes before slicing.
