"Fudge" Very Creamy(Willie Mae Bridges) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. granulated sugar
2 Tbsp. white Karo syrup
3 sq. unsweetened chocolate
1/8 tsp. salt
1 c. Carnation milk, undiluted
3 Tbsp. margarine
1 c. nut meats
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Mix all ingredients (except margarine, vanilla and nuts). Boil until syrup forms a soft firm ball when small amount is dropped into cold water.
Stir constantly while boiling.
Only stop stirring while testing for soft ball.
Remove from heat.
Add margarine.
Do not stir.
Cool until lukewarm.
Beat until creamy. Add vanilla and nuts.
When it loses its gloss, pour into greased square pan.
(You can sprinkle small marshmallows in bottom of pan before pouring mixture.)
