Rice Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. rice
    2 qt. plus 2 c. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3/4 c. sugar
    3/4 c. raisins
    cinnamon
Preparation
    Simmer rice in 1 cup water until absorbed (stir often).
    Add 1 quart milk.
    Cook until thick.
    Add 1 quart milk, sugar and raisins.
    Cook until thick.
    Add another 2 cups milk; cook 10 minutes.
    Mix in vanilla and sprinkle with cinnamon.
