Apple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1/4 c. shortening
1 whole egg
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. flour
2 c. finely cut apples
1/2 c. raisins
1/2 c. pecan meats

Preparation

Cream sugar and shortening. Add egg and beat well.
To flour, add soda, cinnamon and salt. Sift together. Add apples alternately with flour mixture. Beat well.
Stir in raisins and pecan meats. Bake 45 minutes in 300\u00b0 to 325\u00b0 oven in 9 x 9 pan.
