Ingredients

1 1/2 lb. ground, cooked ham
3/4 c. rolled oats, uncooked
2 eggs, beaten
1 Tbsp. brown sugar
1/8 tsp. ground cloves
2 Tbsp. shortening
2 c. pineapple juice
1 c. water
1/4 c. lemon juice
2/3 c. firmly packed brown sugar
2 Tbsp. cornstarch
20 whole cloves
Preparation

Combine ham, rolled oats, eggs, brown sugar and cloves; mix well.
Shape into ball; chill.
In large frypan, lightly brown ham balls in a small amount of shortening.
