Beef Vegetable Stew - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 or 8 potatoes
2 carrots
1/2 head cabbage
1 or 2 large onions
1 large can tomato juice
1 1/2 lb. sirloin tip roast, baked
3 Tbsp. sugar
salt and pepper to taste
okra, if desired
Preparation

Peel and cube potatoes, onions and carrots; shred cabbage.
Put in large pot and cover with water.
Cook for awhile, then add roast (cut up), broth and tomato juice.
Season to taste.
Simmer for several hours.
You can add more water if needed.
