Apple-Walnut Cobbler - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. sugar or brown sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
3/4 c. chopped walnuts
4 c. thinly sliced, pared tart apples
1 c. sifted flour
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1 well beaten egg
1/2 c. evaporated milk
1/3 c. butter, melted
Preparation

Mix 1/2 cup sugar, cinnamon and 1/2 cup walnuts.
Place apples in bottom of greased 8 1/4-inch round cake dish.
Sprinkle with cinnamon mixture. Sift dry ingredients.
Combine egg, milk and butter. Add dry ingredients all at once. Mix until smooth.
Pour over apples. Sprinkle with remaining walnuts. Bake 50 minutes in a 325\u00b0 oven.
Cut in wedges. Serve with cinnamon topped with whipped cream.
