Italian Beef - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 to 6 lb. beef roast (rump is best)
    dash of oregano
    2 bay leaves
    2 tsp. caraway seed
    2 Tbsp. vinegar
    1/2 c. water
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Cook for 3 hours.
    Take meat out; add 3 cups water and 3 green peppers, sliced.
    Slice meat thin; add to juices and peppers and cook for 30 minutes more.
    Serve on French bread or beef buns.
    (I serve this as a main meal dish and use leftovers for sandwiches.)
