Hawaiian Roast - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 lb. chuck roast
    3 Tbsp. oil
    4 onions, quartered
    1 c. diced celery
    4 chopped carrots
    12 oz. pineapple juice
    1/4 tsp. ground ginger
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 tsp. sugar
    3 Tbsp. soy sauce
    1 (20 oz.) can pineapple chunks, drained
    1/3 c. water
    1/4 c. flour
Preparation
    Brown
    roast in 12-inch Dutch oven in oil.
    Remove meat and brown vegetables.
    Return meat to Dutch oven.
    Add pineapple juice,
    ginger, salt, pepper, sugar and soy sauce.\tCover Dutch oven
    and
    simmer for 2 1/2 hours.\tAdd pineapple chunks and cook 20 minutes more.
    Transfer meat, vegetables and fruit to separate dish.
    Mix water with the flour and stir into the juice
    in
    the Dutch
    oven.
    Simmer until thickened, stirring constantly.\tPour sauce over meat and vegetables.
