Chicken And Dumplings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. frying chicken
    2 qt. water
    salt
    sage (optional)
    4 c. all-purpose flour
    1/4 c. milk
Preparation
    Put chicken, water, salt and sage (to taste) in a 6-quart Dutch oven.
    Cook for about 1 1/2 hours or until chicken is tender.
    Remove chicken from broth (save the broth); debone chicken and let cool.
