Pantry-Shelf Beans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (No. 2 1/2) cans pork and beans
    1 c. tomato catsup
    1/2 (10 oz.) bottle cola beverage
    3/4 c. brown sugar
    1 medium onion, diced
Preparation
    Cook combined ingredients over low heat for about 2 hours, uncovered.
    Stir often to avoid sticking on bottom of pan.
    May be cooked in 300\u00b0 oven, uncovered, about 2 hours, if preferred. Serves 6 to 8.
