Lemon, Pears And Pineapple Congealed Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (6 oz.) box lemon Jell-O
1 c. Bartlett pears, drain well, dice and save juice
1 c. sour cream or mayonnaise
1 c. buttermilk
1 c. grated mild Cheddar cheese
1 (8 oz.) Cool Whip, thawed
Preparation

Combine 3/4 cup of the pear juice and 1/4 cup of water.
Bring to a boil.
Add Jell-O and stir well. Cool to touch.
Blend buttermilk with Cool Whip.
Add mayonnaise (or sour cream) and blend well.
Fold in the fruit and grated cheese.
Add cooled Jell-O and blend well.
Congeal in 3-quart Pyrex dish. Cut into 18 pieces.
