Louise'S Homemade Ice Cream - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sugar
    1 heaping Tbsp. cornstarch
    6 eggs
    1 1/2 qt. whole milk
    1 can evaporated milk
    fresh, frozen or canned fruits, if desired, chop fruits very fine
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice if using fresh fruits
Preparation
    Beat
    first
    3 ingredients together well.
    Scald milks. Add egg mixture.
    Cook in double boiler (stirring often) until mixture thickens.\tPour into plastic container and completely chill in refrigerator until ready for ice cream freezer.
