Tasty Beef Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. stew meat or good cut of meat, cubed
    1/2 c. onion
    2 cloves garlic
    1 1/2 to 2 c. carrots
    1 1/2 to 2 c. potatoes
    2 ribs celery or 1/4 tsp. celery salt
    1 can beef broth
    salt to taste
    pepper to taste
    water (enough to cook in)
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1/4 c. minced green bell pepper
Preparation
    Melt butter; add onions, garlic and stew meat.
    Cook until meat is tender.
    Then add carrots, potatoes, bell pepper, celery, beef broth, salt and pepper.
    Add enough water to cook.
    Cook until the carrots and potatoes are done.
    Thicken up sauce with cornstarch to desired thickness.
