Apple Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 apples
    2 egg yolks
    1/2 tsp. lemon juice
    dash of salt
    dash of white pepper
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1 tsp. mustard
    1 Tbsp. vinegar
    1 c. cream
Preparation
    Peel and dice the apples.
    Beat the egg yolks, lemon juice, salt, white pepper, mustard, vinegar and sugar.
    Heat over slow heat until it begins to boil, stirring constantly.
    Then add the cream, beat until it is cool.
    Pour over apples and mix thoroughly.
