Hash Texas Style - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    3 large onions, sliced
    1 large green pepper, chopped
    1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes
    1/2 c. uncooked regular rice
    2 tsp. salt
    1 to 2 tsp. chili powder
    1/8 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
    In a large skillet, brown meat with onion and green pepper until meat is brown and vegetables are tender. Drain off fat.
    Add tomatoes, rice, salt, chili powder and pepper. Heat thoroughly, then put in an ungreased casserole.
    Cover and bake for 1 hour.
