Rhubarb Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. cut up rhubarb
    1 1/2 c. white sugar
    3 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 tsp. vanilla (optional)
    coloring (red) or strawberries
Preparation
    Dissolve cornstarch in water.
    Add to rhubarb and sugar.
    Cook until thick.
    Add coloring and vanilla.
    Let set.
