Hot German Potato Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. potatoes (about medium)
    6 slices bacon
    3/4 c. chopped onion
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. celery seed
    dash of pepper
    3/4 c. water
    1/3 c. vinegar
Preparation
    Wash potatoes.
    Pare thinly and remove eyes. Heat 1-inch salted water to boiling.
    Add potatoes.
    Cover tightly.
    Heat to boiling and cook 30 to 35 minutes or until tender.
    Drain and set aside.
