"Unstuffed" Peppers(Serves 4) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 to 2 lb. ground chuck
1 medium onion, chopped
4 bell peppers, cored and halved
1 1/2 to 2 tsp. chili powder
1 (12 oz.) can tomato sauce
salt to taste
3/4 to 1 c. uncooked rice
water as needed
Preparation

Brown meat; drain.
Add onion, chili powder, rice, tomato sauce and 1 to 1 1/2 cans water.
Lower heat and simmer for 20 minutes.
