Cracker Jacks - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 qt. popped corn
    2 c. brown sugar
    2 sticks butter
    1/2 c. dark Karo syrup
    pinch of cream of tartar
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1/2 c. peanuts
Preparation
    Boil brown sugar, butter and syrup.
    Boil 5 minutes, then add cream of tartar.
    Remove from heat and add 1/2 teaspoon soda. Pour over popped corn and nuts and stir.
    Bake in 2 sheet pans for 1 hour at 225\u00b0.
    Stir every 15 minutes.
