Cheesy Scalloped Potatoes - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 lb. potatoes
boiling water
salt
1/2 c. cooked, crumbled bacon or diced ham
1/4 c. chopped onion
3 Tbsp. margarine
3 Tbsp. flour
1/4 tsp. celery seed
pepper to taste
1 1/2 c. milk
1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
Preparation

Peel and cut potatoes into one-fourth inch slices.
Precook 5 minutes in boiling water (salted).
Drain.
Layer potatoes, bacon and onion in a greased, shallow, 2-quart casserole dish.
Melt margarine in a pan.
Stir in flour, 1 1/4 teaspoons salt, pepper and celery seed.
Cook and stir until smooth.
Gradually stir in milk.
Cook, stirring constantly until thickened.
Remove from heat.
Add cheese, stirring until cheese melts.
Spoon cheese mixture over potatoes.
Cover; bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes. Uncover and bake for 15 to 20 minutes longer.
