Pint 'O Pickle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. cider vinegar
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. mustard seed
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. celery seed
    dash of turmeric
    1 small onion, thinly sliced
    2 1/2 c. thinly sliced cucumbers
Preparation
    Combine vinegar, sugar and spices in a 4-quart bowl. Microwave 4 minutes, stirring once.
    Add cucumber and onion slices.
    Stir and cover with Saran Wrap.
    Turn back edge to vent. Microwave 3 minutes.
    Stir well.
    Re-cover and microwave 2 minutes.
    Let stand covered 10 minutes.
    Spoon into jar.
    Chill before serving.
