Midwest Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. diced potatoes
    1/2 c. carrots, sliced
    1/2 c. celery, sliced
    1/4 c. onion, chopped very small
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    2 c. boiling water
    1/4 c. margarine
    1/4 c. flour
    2 c. milk
    2 c. cream-style corn (1 can)
    10 oz. Cheddar cheese (any kind)
Preparation
    Combine potatoes, carrots, celery, onion, salt and pepper. Add water.
    Cover and simmer 10 minutes. Do not drain.
    Make a cream sauce with margarine, flour and milk.
    Add cheese.
    Stir until melted.
    Add corn and undrained vegetables.
    Heat.
    Do not boil.
