Pineapple Velvet - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. lemon jello
    1 c. hot water
    3 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1/4 c. crushed pineapple syrup
    1 c. crushed pineapple
    1/4 c. chopped toasted almonds
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1/8 tsp. almond flavoring
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. whipping cream
Preparation
    Dissolve jello in hot water.
    Stir in lemon juice and 1/4 cup pineapple syrup.
    Chill until egg white consistency.
    Fold in 1 cup well drained pineapple and almonds.
    Add 1 tablespoon sugar, 1/8 teaspoon almond flavoring and 1/8 teaspoon salt to 1/2 cup whipping cream.
    Beat until thick and fluffy.
    Fold into gelatin and chill.
