Mostaccioli Casserole(Serves 8) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. oil
    1/2 c. chopped green pepper
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1/2 lb. ground meat
    1 lb. can tomatoes
    6 oz. can tomato paste
    1/2 c. water
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    bay leaf
    American cheese
Preparation
    Cook 1/2 pound of mostaccioli noodles.
    Saute green pepper and onion in oil until tender.
    Add meat and brown.
    Add remaining ingredients and simmer 5 minutes.
    In 2-quart casserole, arrange alternate layers of noodles, meat sauce and slices of American cheese.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
