Fruit Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 c. milk
    2 c. fruit (peaches, cherries, blackberries, blueberries or apples)
    1 c. boiling water
Preparation
    Cream 1/2 cup sugar with butter.
    Add flour, baking powder and milk.
    Pour into baking dish.
    Put 2 cups or more of fruit on top of batter.
    Sprinkle 1 cup sugar on top and pour 1 cup boiling water over all.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 50 minutes.
