Tuna-Noodle Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 oz. (3 c.) medium noodles, cooked and drained
    6 1/2 or 7 oz. can tuna, drained
    1/2 c. mayonnaise
    1 c. sliced celery
    1/3 c. chopped onion
    1/2 c. toasted almonds, if desired
    1/4 c. chopped bell pepper
    1/4 c. chopped canned pimiento
    1/2 tsp. salt
    10 1/2 oz. can cream of celery soup
    1/2 c. milk
    1 c. shredded sharp processed American cheese
Preparation
    Cook noodles using package directions.
    Drain.
    Combine noodles, tuna (drained), mayonnaise, celery, onion, green pepper, canned pimiento and salt.
    Blend cream of celery soup and milk; heat through.
    Add 1 cup (4 ounces) American cheese, heat and stir until cheese melts.
    Add to noodle mixture.
    Turn into 2-quart casserole dish.
    If desired, top with 1/2 cup toasted, slivered almonds.
    Bake, uncovered, at 425\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
    Makes 6 servings.
