Jami'S Apple Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1 tsp. ground cinnamon
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice
    6 c. peeled, cored and sliced apples (about 5 medium)
    2 Tbsp. butter
    pastry for 2 crust pie
Preparation
    Preheat oven at 425\u00b0.
    In large bowl combine sugar, flour, cinnamon and lemon juice.
    Mix lightly with apples.
    Roll out half of pastry and line 9-inch pie plate.
    Place apples in pie crust. Dot with butter.
    Fit top crust and flute edges.
    Cut 4 vent holes in top crust.
    Place pie plate on low baking rack.
    Bake 40 to 50 minutes or until golden brown.
    Shield edge of crust with a strip of aluminum foil 10 to 15 minutes before pie finishes baking.
