Ingredients

1 rounded c. self-rising flour
1 level Tbsp. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 egg, unbeaten
1 c. skim milk
2 Tbsp. shortening, melted
Preparation

Mix dry ingredients; add egg, milk and shortening.
Mix until all ingredients are wet.
Using a 1/4 measuring cup, pour pancake batter into hot shortening.
Turn only once.
