Ingredients

1/2 c. sugar
8 eggs
3 c. water
1 tsp. vanilla
2 cans condensed milk
1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation

Heat sugar
in\theavy saucepan until it becomes liquid. Pour into flan
pan (2 quart Pyrex bowl with rounded bottom is okay). Coat pan sides with sugar.\tCombine remaining ingredients and blend
until
smooth.
Pour
into
flan
pan.
Set in large pan filled with
water.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours or until knife inserted
in center comes out clean.
Refrigerate until cold. Invert onto platter just before serving.
