Creole Cabbage(Soup) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large head cabbage (large chunks)
    1 large onion, minced
    1 bell pepper, sliced
    1 (No. 2) can tomatoes
    1/2 to 1-inch squared ham chunks (1 lb. cured)
    2 cloves or less
    3 bay leaves or less
    1 Tbsp. chili powder
    1 tsp. salt and pepper
    1 jalapeno pepper, chopped
Preparation
    Combine and cook until cabbage is done, 30 to 45 minutes.
