Popular Butter Rolls - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 pkg. dry yeast
1 c. warm water (105~ to 115~)
1/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter or margarine, softened
1 egg
2 tsp. salt
4 c. Dixie Lily plain flour
Preparation

In a large bowl, soak yeast in water.
Mix in sugar, butter, eggs and salt.
Beat in 1 cup flour, then mix in enough flour to make a stiff dough. Mix well.
Place dough in greased bowl, turning to grease top and sides of dough.
Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight.
Shape rolls and place on greased baking sheet.
Let rise until doubled.
Bake in a 400\u00b0 oven 12 to 15 minutes or until done.
If desired, unbaked rolls may be frozen and baked later.
