Onion Rings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 large onions
    1 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. marjoram
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. thyme
    1 c. milk
    1 egg, beaten
Preparation
    Peel and slice onions 1/4 inch thick.
    Separate rings and chill in a bowl of ice water 1 hour.
    Drain onions; dry thoroughly.
