Refrigerator Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. cucumbers
    2 to 3 onions
    1 green pepper
    1/4 to 1/2 c. salt
    2 c. white vinegar
    3 1/2 c. sugar
Preparation
    In gallon jar or container, slice cucumbers, onions and green pepper.
    Pour salt over above vegetables.
    Mix vinegar and sugar; pour over vegetables when sugar is all dissolved.
    Store in refrigerator when cool.
    Do not freeze.
