My Mother'S Whole Wheat Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. milk
1/3 c. shortening
1/2 c. brown sugar
4 tsp. salt
2 cakes yeast
2 eggs
3 c. unsifted whole wheat flour
3 c. sifted white flour
Preparation

Scald milk. Combine with shortening, sugar and salt.
Cool to lukewarm with one cup water.
Add yeast and mix well.
Blend in eggs and whole wheat flour.
Gradually add enriched flour.
Mix well until blended.
Place dough in greased bowl.
Cover and store in refrigerator for 2 hours or until needed.
