Cinnamon Diamonds - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 egg yolk
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    3/4 c. chopped walnuts
    beaten egg white
Preparation
    Mix well and pat into ungreased jellyroll pan the first 6 ingredients.
    Brush dough with beaten egg white.
    Sprinkle with 3/4 cup of chopped walnuts and firmly pat down.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 18 to 20 minutes.
    Cut into diamonds while still warm.
