Spiced Party Nuts - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/3 c. sugar
1/2 stick butter
1/4 c. orange juice
1 tsp. salt
1 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. mace
1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
1 lb. unsalted mixed nuts (approximately 4 c.)

Preparation

Preheat oven to 250\u00b0.
Set rack in center of oven.
Line cookie sheets with foil.
Cook all ingredients (except nuts) over low heat until sugar dissolves and butter melts.
Increase to medium heat; add nuts and toss until coated.
