Old-Fashioned Tea Cakes - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. butter
2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1/2 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
flour (to make dough of right consistency)
Preparation

Chill the dough before cutting.
Brown sugar may be put on if you wish.
Bake in a 400\u00b0 oven.
You will need a large container to make this in.
The dough needs to be stiffer than biscuit dough.
Dough doesn't have to be chilled if you prefer not to.
