Crunchy Sweet Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. vinegar
    1 Tbsp. mustard seed
    1 Tbsp. celery seed
    2 (32 oz.) jars whole kosher dill pickles
Preparation
    Combine sugar, vinegar, mustard seed and celery seed in saucepan.
    Bring to a boil; be sure the sugar melts.
    Set aside for 30 minutes or longer.
    Pour pickles from jars into a strainer; drain juice and rinse well.
    Slice into 1/4-inch slices and rinse 2 or 3 more times.
    Drain and pack pickle slices into jars. Reheat the syrup and pour over pickles.
    Refrigerate 12 hours before eating!
