Heavenly Hash - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. milk
    2/3 c. white syrup
    1 c. black walnuts
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Mix sugar, milk, syrup and salt in iron skillet and cook until it reaches soft-ball stage. Remove from heat. Add butter, vanilla and walnut pieces. Beat constantly until it begins to get thick. Pour at once on a buttered platter and mark into squares.
