Gingerbread Bars(Good For Packing Picnics And On Hikes) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick softened oleo
    2/3 c. sugar
    1 c. light molasses
    1 Tbsp. water
    3 Tbsp. vinegar
    3 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. soda
    2 tsp. ground ginger
Preparation
    Blend oleo, sugar, molasses, water and vinegar.
    Add dry ingredients.
    Press dough into a greased 9 x 15-inch pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for about 25 minutes, until it has puffed up and fallen back down.
    Cool and cut into bars.
    They're chewy, don't crumble and keep their flavor, probably because there's no egg.
