Orange Date Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/2 lb. butter
2 c. sugar
4 eggs
3 1/2 c. flour (save 1/2 c. flour to roll candy, coconut, dates and nuts in)
1/2 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. soda, mixed with milk
1 can coconut
1/2 lb. chopped dates
2 c. chopped nuts
1 lb. orange slice candy, cut into small pieces

Preparation

Mix this with 1/2 cup flour, then add to the batter.
Bake at 250\u00b0 for 3 hours in tube cake pan.
