Tea Cake Cookies(May 15, 1879) - cooking recipe

Ingredients

3 eggs
2 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. butter
1/2 c. buttermilk
1/2 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
flour (to make stiff dough, enough to work good)

Preparation

Mix all ingredients together.
Knead on floured board.
Roll thin.
Cut out.
Bake on cookie sheet at 350\u00b0 until brown.
