Holiday Breakfast Souffle - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 slices white bread
1/2 c. grated cheese (American, Cheddar, or Swiss)
8 eggs
1 3/4 c. milk
1 lb. browned, crumbled sausage, hamburger or bacon
1/2 tsp. dry mustard
1/2 tsp. salt (optional)
Preparation

Prepare this dish the night before. Grease 9 x 13 baking/serving dish. Line bottom with bread slices. Spread grated cheese and crumbled meat evenly over bread slices. In mixing bowl, combine eggs, milk, mustard and salt. Pour egg mixture over bread slices. Cover and refrigerate overnight. In the morning, remove cover and bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes or until puffy and lightly browned. Delicious and easy!!! Serves 4 hearty appetites.
