French Cobbler - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. butter or margarine
    1 c. flour
    1 3/4 c. sugar
    1 tsp. baking powder
    3/4 c. milk
    1 can any flavor pie filling (cherry, peach, blueberry, etc.)
Preparation
    Melt butter in a deep baking dish.
    Mix the flour, 1 cup sugar, baking powder and milk and pour into baking dish.
    Spoon pie filling over flour mixture and sprinkle remaining sugar over top.
    Bake for 20 to 25 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    Serve with whipped cream or ice cream.
