Shrimp Casserole For 12 - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. shrimp (fresh or frozen)
    1 c. rice (measure before cooking)
    2 (10 oz.) cans mushroom soup
    2 tsp. lemon juice
    1 tsp. pepper
    4 tsp. grated onion
    4 Tbsp. butter
    2 tsp. chopped parsley
    3 green peppers, sliced in rings
    2 qt. water
    2 cloves garlic
    1 tsp. salt
    2 c. sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
Preparation
    Prepare shrimp: clean and bring to a boil.
    Turn off heat. Let shrimp and water cool.
    (May use frozen shrimp.)
    Boil the rice until fluffy; add soup, lemon juice, pepper, onion and butter.
    Add shrimp and parsley.
    Pour into well-greased baking dish.
    Parboil green peppers in 2-quarts water, garlic and salt. Drain and place the peppers on top of shrimp mixture.
    Sprinkle with grated cheese.
    Put into 350\u00b0 oven for 30 minutes.
