Turtle Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 box German chocolate cake mix
    14 oz. pkg. caramels
    2/3 c. evaporated milk (divided in half)
    3/4 c. melted margarine
    1 c. chopped nuts
    6 oz. chocolate chips
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Melt caramels and half of the evaporated milk.
    Set aside.
    Use 9 x 13-inch pan sprayed with Pam.
    In a large bowl, mix the following:
    melted margarine, dry cake mix, other half evaporated milk and nuts.
    Stir by hand until well mixed.
    Press half of dough in cake pan.
    Bake 6 minutes, then sprinkle on chocolate chips.
    Spread on caramel mixture.
    Dab on remaining dough.
    Bake 15 to 20 minutes.
    Cool before serving.
