Rhubarb-Strawberry Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. frozen rhubarb
    1 pkg. (small) frozen strawberries
Preparation
    Follow directions on package (of rhubarb) very carefully, with one exception.
    It calls for 3/4 cup sugar, that is much too sweet. I use a scant 2/3 cup or less.
    Watch carefully so it doesn't boil over (when it is covered).
    It happened to me just once and what a mess.
    In other words when it indicates to cover, I do not; that is cover tightly, just partially covered.
    When all that is done, drop in the frozen strawberries and break it up carefully.
    Yummy good, after it has cooled.
