Sassy Baked Beans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (48 oz.) jar Randall pinto beans
    1/4 c. olive oil
    3 large cloves garlic, minced
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1/4 c. honey
    1 tsp. cumin
    1 tsp. salt (or to taste)
    1 c. chopped onions
    1/2 c. tomato salsa (use mild, medium or hot salsa to taste)
    3 drops liquid smoke
    2 tsp. chili powder
Preparation
    Pour the beans into a mixing bowl.
    Heat the oil in a skillet and lightly saute the onions and garlic, about 2 minutes, stirring.
    Add to the beans.
    Stir in the remaining ingredients. Pour into a 1 1/2-quart shallow casserole.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
    Makes 10 to 12 servings.
