Creamed Peas - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 pkg. frozen peas
    6 Tbsp. melted butter
    1 finely chopped green onion
    1/4 c. water
    1/2 tsp. sugar
    1/2 c. heavy cream
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Prepare frozen peas according to package; drain.
    Keep warm. In a pot, cook green onion in butter for 5 minutes.
    Blend in remaining ingredients, except cream.
    Bring to a boil.
    Reduce heat; cover and cook slowly for 10 minutes.
    Add cream; cook until heated.
    Serves 6.
